A Mount Pleasant police officer found himself in the hot seat after crashing his personal vehicle in Georgetown County on Saturday, March 3rd. Major Frank Riccio, the department’s second-in-command, was arrested for DUI after his Jeep veered off the left side of the road and then crashed into the median before overturning. In a strange chain of events, a man is left under arrest charged with DUI after crashing into a police officer wearing nothing but his underwear. It happened this past weekend in Chicago.
